Rotary Club of Miami 100th Anniversary Gala

The Rotary Club of Miami celebrates 100 years of serving the Greater Miami community.

"A Century of Service", a gala anniversary event, will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017. The club's founding president in 1917 was Dr. James Jackson, of Jackson Memorial Hospital fame, and he was followed by a long list of Miami's civic pioneers and business leaders.

The Rotary Club of Miami helped establish many South Florida institutions now household names, including Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, YMCA of Greater Miami, Boystown of Florida, University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and the Bone and Tissue Bank.
