We are launching our 2025 community service project opportunities with

EcoAction Day at AD Barnes Park

WHERE: A.D. Barnes Park located at 3401 SW 72^nd Avenue, Miami (see map attached)

WHAT:  Help clear plant beds of weeds, debris and mulching.

Work gloves and hand tools will be provided.  Bring your own cap/sun protection and water bottle.

Registration extended to Tuesday, 2/18 5 p.m.

Thank you to all you Rotary People of Action who have already RSVP'd! Just in case you missed our earlier invitation, or you have finalized your schedule for the weekend, this is your opportunity to join us.  Remember, this is a family-friendly activity that is a great opportunity to instill the value of service above self with your children (and community service hours will be be provided through Miami Dade Parks).

Installation Dinner of 2025-26 Rotary Club of Miami President Angel Rodriguez and the incoming Board or Directors

The Rotary Club of Weston - Environmental Initiatives Action Group invites you to our upcoming Beach Clean Up - Service Day on Sat July 19th (8 am to 10 am @ Dania Beach by the Fishing Pier ). Let’s work together with other Rotarians to keep our beaches and ocean clean. Let’s EndPlasticSoup! This is a great way to meet other like-minded and committed Rotarians in the District.

There will be plenty of buckets available to collect the plastic and other materials that are cleaned up from the beach. Please bring your grabbers, if you have some. Gloves will be available on site.

The Brods are setting sail with Dr. Paul George (an honorary member of our Club) and HistoryMiami to check out the Islands of Biscayne Bay!  We thought some you might like to come on board.  Dr. George will share the rich history of the many islands in the Bay, such as Fisher Island, Flagler Memorial Island, Palm Island and more. His vast knowledge about Miami and its history make every one of his guided tours unforgettable.  Check it out:
