SPEAKER INTRODUCTION: President Norby introduced Mitch Swergold who was giving a power point and talk about MIND OVER MATTER. Mitch is a public speaker, management consultant, corporate trainer, writer and self-mastery coach. Mitch says, “I help business people increase productivity and reduce stress so they can do more and make more”. He gave a very interesting overview of his work and how the mind controls what we achieve. His main point was the stress that this time of year puts on people and how they manage it through the holidays.
50/50: TIM RYAN sold the tickets. The total pot for today’s winner was $5,316. We were honored to have Staci Marbin, a 4th year medical student and one of our medical school scholarship awardees, draw the lucky ticket. And the big winner was … Cameron Sisser from Lighthouse for the Blind! He and the club split the pot 50/50. Not only is Cameron lucky, he is generous too. After the meeting, Cameron told Phil that he was going to donate an additional $100 out of his 50% share for his and Virginia’s annual EREY and he is donating $500 to the Lighthouse for the Blind! Win-Win-Win!!!
