Past President Jay Almeida opened the meeting filling in for President Tim Ryan and President Elect Oliver Ruiz. Dave Anderson gave a moving invocation and Rick Hernandez led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Announcements
Diane Landsberg announced that Dave Skinner has spent countless hours on the application for the Presidential Citation. We are very close to completing the requirements and asked if a few members would stay a few minutes after the meeting to complete their registrations on My Rotary.
Members were reminded that next week’s meeting is to be held at the Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College.
Robert Bull said the reason he was late today was that he mixed up the dates and went to the College instead. We were happy that he realized the mistake and came to the Yacht Club.

Norm Kassoff introduced our speaker, former U.S. Marshall Allen Garber who told stories of his service and his many relocations across the country.
Norissa Glickman was a surprise late guest. She is the incoming President of the North Dade Rotary Club and won our Lexus Raffle after buying a single ticket at the District Conference. She has selected to take the money instead of the car lease. She will be presented with the check in two weeks.
Ted Eldredge won the 50-50 raffle and donated the money back toward his EREY credit.
The 4-Way Test was led by Cory Gittner and the meeting was adjourned.
