Club President Norby Rudel rang the bell at 12:30 sharp and welcomed everyone to the meeting. He took a moment to lead those attending in an invocation and then asked everyone to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag,

Birthdays and Anniversaries - Rick Hernandez’ birthday was July 15th. Dave Anderson & Susan Shelley received a cake from Rotary to help celebrate their upcoming birthdays. Everyone enjoyed that.

Business announcements
Robert Bull shared that his seven-member dream team for feeding the homeless is complete. He reviewed the dress code and commitment for the event;
Rotary University is Aug 24th and starts at 8:30 and ends by noon. Those interested need to be registered online, make sure to sign up so you are registered on DACDB;
Scott Richey was presented with a Service Award and a deck of Million Dollar Playing Cards;
Diane Landsberg reminded members to submit their Log of Volunteer service hours with other organizations, special project committees.

Desmond McDonald is a former soccer player and American Heritage High Graduate. He is now looking to work with youth within the community by using soccer to change their lives.
Ryan Mathis is a sports agent and deals with biggest soccer players in the world, and is instrumental to program and goals. He understands the importance of implementing the program for both under privileged and special needs;
Gonzales Sporting Enterprises is an up and coming NFP, promoting soccer and youth development. Partnering with Circle of Brotherhood, they help keep kids off of the street. Working in Liberty City and the underprivileged youth they had clinics within the city, and drew out their inner champion. Focusing on the positivity and comradeship the sport initiates he brings a big brother mentality to the field.
